The world says Hello.

Howdy — a creative studio for branding, web design and development, social media, photography, video editing, SEO, Reddit marketing and generative AI.

Every language has a way of saying hello. Ours is an independent studio — branding, websites, social, photography, video, SEO and generative AI under one roof — for brands tired of six suppliers who never speak to each other.

01  /  The audit

Before we talk, look at this.

We run your site through Google's own testing lab on a mid-range phone and tell you what we find, in plain English. No pitch, no email gate. Most people have never seen these numbers for their own website.

02  /  What we do

Eight disciplines. One team. No handoffs.

Everything below happens in-house, by people who sit together. That's the whole argument for hiring one studio instead of six freelancers.

Switch the fixes on

Most SEO is just doing the boring things.

Technical fixes, a site Google can actually read, content built around what people search for, and structured data so your result takes up more of the page than theirs.

Reddit can smell a pitch

Reddit punishes marketing. So we don't do marketing.

We learn the subreddit's rules before we post, answer questions properly, and earn the right to mention you. It's slow, it's the only thing that works, and it sends traffic that actually converts.

Same message, your voice

Generative AI, trained on how your brand actually speaks.

Content engines that write in your voice at volume. Generative imagery and video for concepts, variants and campaigns that would never survive a shoot budget. Agents that answer customers properly and workflows that hand your team its afternoons back.

We build the guardrails too — a brand-voice model, a review step, and a human whose name is on it. And if AI is the wrong tool for the job, we say so before the invoice.

And the rest of it

Paid media and email. We run both as part of a plan we're already running for you. What we don't take is a standalone media-buying retainer — the people who do that properly do nothing else.

Bring us the whole problem and we'll handle the channels it needs.

05  /  How it goes

Four steps, in this order, every time.

The order matters more than the steps. Most work goes wrong because somebody opened a design file before anyone asked why.

01

We sit down

An hour, no charge, no deck — booked in your time zone, not ours. We ask the uncomfortable questions: who actually buys from you, what they're choosing between, and what you've already tried that didn't work.

02

We draw the map

A short, plain-language plan: what we're making, who it's for, what it should do, and how we'll know it worked. One page. You approve it before anything gets designed.

03

We make the thing

Design, build, shoot, cut — all of it in our studio, in the open. You see work in progress every week, not a grand reveal at the end that's too late to change.

04

We watch it work

Launch is the middle, not the end. We track what the thing actually does, tell you the truth about it, and adjust. Reports a human can read.

06  /  The studio

Small studio. Big clients. Nobody you brief will hand your work to someone you've never met.

Est. 2022 One studio Everything in-house Own camera kit No white-labelling No lock-in contracts

Four years in, and deliberately small. Eight disciplines under one roof means the brand, the site, the photography and the film are made by people who sit within earshot of each other — which is why they end up looking like they belong together.

The person you brief is the person who does the work: designers who write, developers who care what it looks like, a photographer who shoots for the edit, an editor who thinks like a marketer.

We take fewer clients than we could, which is how we end up knowing a business well enough to argue with it. If you want a vendor who nods, we're the wrong studio. If you want someone who'll tell you the campaign isn't working before you notice — howdy.

07  /  Questions

The things you're about to ask.

Answered properly, because you shouldn't have to book a call to find out whether we're a fit.

What does a project cost?

It depends on scope, and any studio that answers otherwise is guessing. What we will do is give you a real number on the first call rather than a range wide enough to be useless. For reference, most website projects land between [$X] and [$Y], and ongoing work starts at [$Z] a month.

No project ever costs more than the number we agreed. If scope grows, we tell you before we start, not after.

We're in a different country. How does that work?

We work your hours, not ours. One point of contact who knows your business, a shared board you can open any time to see exactly where things are, and a weekly call at a time that suits your calendar.

We've been working across time zones for four years, from our own studio with our own kit. Nothing gets subcontracted and nothing gets lost in a handover.

How long does a website take?

Four to eight weeks for most, from first call to live. The variable is almost never the build — it's how quickly content, photography and approvals come back from your side. We'll tell you at the start exactly what we need from you and when, so the timeline is yours to control.

Do you work with small businesses and startups?

Most of our clients are one or the other. Size isn't how we choose work — we take on fewer clients than we could, and the deciding factor is whether there's something real to build.

Do you run paid ads?

Yes, as part of a plan we're already running for you — alongside the site, the content and the social. What we don't take is a standalone media-buying retainer. The studios who do that properly do nothing else, and you deserve one of those if paid is the whole strategy.

Who actually does the work?

The people you meet. We don't white-label, we don't hand your project to a production farm, and the person you brief on the first call is the person in the file on the last day.

We already have a designer or a developer. Can you work with them?

Often, yes. Tell us who owns what and we'll fill the gap instead of duplicating it. Plenty of our work is one piece of a bigger team — a build against someone else's designs, a photographer's shoot cut by our editor.

What's the difference between a creative studio and a marketing agency?

An agency usually sells strategy and media buying and subcontracts the making. A studio makes the work. Howdy is a studio: the brand, the site, the photography and the film are produced by the same people, in the same building, which is why they end up looking like they belong together.

Should I hire a studio or a freelancer?

A freelancer is right when you need one skill done well and you can art-direct it yourself. A studio is right when a job crosses disciplines — a brand that needs a site, photography and a launch film — because nobody has to co-ordinate five separate people who have never spoken.

Do you work with international clients?

Yes. Most of our work is for brands outside our own country. Calls are booked in your time zone, invoices can be raised in your currency, and everything is delivered digitally. Four years of working this way means none of it is improvised.

What industries do you work in?

Hospitality, healthcare, retail and D2C are where we have the most depth, but the method does not change by sector. What changes is how long we spend on the first step, understanding who actually buys from you.

What do you need from us to start?

Less than you think. A conversation, access to whatever already exists, and one person on your side who can say yes. We'll do the rest of the digging.

Say howdy.

Tell us what you're trying to make happen. We'll tell you straight whether we're the right people for it.
